Before you purchase your Football Jersey for Dogs, you should know how to size it. From experience, a size “large” football jersey, for example, doesn’t mean that this is the perfect fit for a “large” dog.
We’d hate you to place your order only to discover that, when it arrives, it’s a complete misfit – too big or too small – and you miss out on dressing up your biggest friend and fan for the big game. Not good!
Your officially licensed NFL Football Jersey for Dogs, comes in six sizes (X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large) and to make sure you get the perfect fit first time, you’ll need to garner your tape measure and get measuring.
To measure your dog, you’ll need three measurements, the Length, the Girth (chest) and the Neck.
Body Length: measure the top of the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail;
Girth (Chest): measure around the rib cage, behind the front legs;
Neck: measure around the neck.
Once you’ve measured your dog, refer to the chart below to get the correct size.
My Toy Poodle for example, is approximately 8lbs. Her Chest measures 10.5″ and her body length is 8″.
Looking at the size chart below, this would mean I need to purchase an Extra Small (XS) dog jersey for her. Her neck is a tiny 6″ and so a good size fit for a dog collar/bandana is Small.
